A beautiful English rose with large, very dark burgundy buds that open to gallica like blooms. The rosettes are a deep crimson, fading to a rich purple with age and carry a strong old rose fragrance. The plant blooms in clusters throughout the growing season and has proven to stay small and compact. Bred in 1982.

Ships in a 1 gallon pot with well established roots. Own root. All our roses are within their first year. Please consider this when purchasing. If you live in a cold zone, spring planting is best and fall planting is not advised. This advice is based on our experience here in zone 5b.
