A fragrant English rose with dark red buds that open to chalice shaped blooms of rich tangerine, orange, and yellow. They are held against very dark, beautiful foliage that eventually turns a medium green. The blooms have a strong, delicious, fruity fragrance with hints of pear, grape, and citrus fruits. Bred in 2004.
This gem is well known and loved among all David Austin rose collectors. In our garden the blooms start a beautiful peach and orange, then fades to a pretty coral and the fragrance is unmistakable. We grow three of this variety in different lighting and all of them are exceptional. It is also very loved by the bees. Almost every time I put my nose into one, I discover one to three bees inside. These photos were taken from our garden with an iPhone.
