A beautiful English rose with crimson blooms and a strong old rose fragrance. Blooms are large and fully cupped and usually appear in clusters. We have found the blooms can face up, out, or downwards. A climbing variety or large shrub in cold zones. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Bred before 1997.

Any red rose with a strong perfume is a favorite in our garden. If you sniff a bloom on a warm day, the fragrance does not disappoint. Growing in morning sun only in our Colorado garden. These photos were taken from our garden with an iPhone.

Ships in a 1 gallon pot with well established roots. Own root. All our roses are within their first year. Please consider this when purchasing. If you live in a cold zone, spring planting is best and fall planting is not advised. This advice is based on our experience here in zone 5b.
