A lovely English rose covered in large, orange and pink tinged buds that open to a beautiful buff yellow. A fragrance of soft tea and fresh lemon, and nearly thornless. Makes a large shrub and blooms profusely with short breaks throughout the summer. Based on weather and growing conditions, blooms can have an apricot hue. Bred in 1991.
We adore this colorful rose in our garden but I have to say I was never truly impressed until the third year. All the waiting was well worth it. I have pinned long canes to the ground with great success. It receives almost full sun in our garden. Pairs beautifully with blue delphiniums or periwinkle pansies. We also discovered how pretty it can be next to a pink/peach rose. These photos were taken from our garden with an iPhone.
Ships in a 1 gallon pot with well established roots. Own root.
