A stunning French rose exuding the most beautiful fragrance of strong anise, raspberry, and strawberry. A true red rose with old fashioned, quartered blooms and a hybrid tea form. This rose claims fragrance awards and has proven to hold up well under humidity, rain, and heat. Bred in 2000.
This rose is a gem in our Colorado garden and is quite possibly my favorite red rose. The fragrance is one of our most favorite and the foliage is absolutely beautiful. We have it growing in morning sun only, which I think helps keep the blooms from scorching on the hottest days. This past spring we planted one in full sun to see how it holds up there.
