A beautiful Japanese rose with unique yellow blooms, sometimes with hints of orange and cream in a glorious rosette form. The fragrance is a strong fruit and tea. I have detected notes of lemon and earthy notes like grass at times. The plant stays a medium shrub and repeats throughout the growing season. Foliage is a shiny, healthy, deep green. This rose is unlike any rose I have grown. You cannot believe the beauty of the blooms, even from a baby plant. The fragrance is unmistakable. When the plant is young, the large, full blooms can weigh down the canes a little. This gets better with age. A remarkable rose to say the least. Ships in a 1 gallon pot with well established roots. Own root. All our roses are within their first year. Please consider this when purchasing. If you live in a cold zone, spring planting is best and fall planting is not advised. This advice is based on our experience here in zone 5b.
